Building in Grindelwald
It has often been used as a model by poets, writers, and painters: the traditional chalet architecture. It blends optimally into the idyllic alpine world in Grindelwald and the Jungfrau region. GriwaPlan AG plans and builds residential and commercial buildings with this unique characteristic.

Building material from the region
So that the Grindelwald villagescape continues to remain intact we use, above all, wood and natural stone for our building materials. In this way, we build chalets in the traditional wood construction, but also in the modern wood construction and mixed building structures (wood and stone or steel, composite). The material selection is part of our customer advisory service and takes place after mutual agreement.
Contracts for the Region
GriwaPlan AG places as many of its construction contracts as possible with companies in Grindelwald, and the Jungfrau Region, and is thereby of great economic significance to Grindelwald.
Structural analysis mountain constructions
In Grindelwald more than 95% of all chalets are built on a hillside. Therefore, the structural analysis of the buildings plays a large roll. For this reason, different strata, and landslide areas, require special attention. In order to meet these high standards GriwaPlan AG has relied on the competent engineers in the area for many years.
Individual Wishes and Dream Homes
The high standards which GriwaPlan AG achieves with its chalets are not least attributed to the individual sanitary and electrical installations. Hot tubs, steam showers, sauna area, separate ski storage, as well as built in home cinema and centrally controlled, or even online controllable KNX (possible in future Link KNX Demo), are built into the local chalets.
